Louis Weisdorf's TURBO pendant was designed in 1965 and first produced in 1967, achieving lasting success over the years. A perfect example of design at its finest, it is simple in form yet intricate in structure, striking a balance between lightness and strength in a beautifully sculptural whole. Inspired by the delicate quality of Japanese rice paper, Weisdorf reimagined it in a more durable and robust form. The pendant’s outer shell consists of twelve identical, spiralling lamellae that come together to create a flower-like globe, gently diffusing the light. The TURBO pendant exemplifies Weisdorf’s passion for repeated modular elements, a signature approach found throughout his work. Dimmable with a dimmable light source and external dimmer. The pendant is height adjustable.
