In 1959, Danish architect Bodil Kjær launched her Indoor-Outdoor series, which includes the extremely comfortable BK12 garden lounge sofa. The sofa, made of solid teak wood with slats as the seat and backrest, shows the same geometric sensitivity that underlies the rest of the collection. This quality is further emphasized by the armrests and legs, which together form slender squares. The BK12 garden lounge sofa is designed as an architectural element, with correspondingly designed proportions. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The robust and durable lounge sofa is crafted from teak wood and stands out for its excellent resistance to weather conditions. Made in Denmark

Instructions

Suitable for outdoor use, but should always be protected from frost. To ensure that the solid wood is preserved for a long time, it should be glazed again with a conventional oil for garden furniture once or twice a year. If teak furniture is left untreated, a thin, silver-grey layer will form on the surface over time. Rub the wood at least once a year with the rough side of a potholder and a little warm water. If you want to maintain the original colour of your teak garden furniture, you can treat it with a suitable teak oil. The product is delivered flat packed to save space and requires the assembly of the complete product after unpacking.
