Poul Henningsen presented the pendant lamp together with the PH 5 at the Design Museum Denmark in 1958. At that time, the PH Snowball didn't attract much attention. It was only in 1983 that it was reissued and put on the market with its brilliant, glare-free light emission. When switched on, the lower shades catch the light. The upper shades, on the other hand, emit it upwards and inwards, creating a uniform light around the pendant lamp. The insides of the shades are matte, while the outside is shiny and reflects the light. Dimmable in combination with dimmable light source and external dimmer. Made in Denmark
