In its fragrant citrus garden, the sunny Villa Cyrnos welcomed the flamboyant upper crust of early 20th century high society. Queens, poets and artists met in the shade of fig trees and umbrella pines. They enjoyed the magnificent view and the simple life that is so typical of the blue Mediterranean coast. The villa benefited from the fresh air of Roquebrune, where the scent of lavender mingled with the dry scents of Provence.
