The legendary French designer Pierre Paulin originally designed the PACHA garden sofa in 1975. Paulin designed the sofa in line with the changing design trends of his time, replacing the strict lines of post-war design with a new, dynamic approach. Paulin managed to give the sofa's rounded shapes real elegance. He achieved this through the perfect alignment of proportions, a subtle lift at the base and the carefully placed, inwardly rolled seams in the foam and cover. Comfort was always the starting point for Paulin's designs. The PACHA garden sofa's curved, playful and organic shapes are designed to serve the body and offer both comfort and cosiness.
