The lamp emits a soft, diffuse, downwardly directed and glare-free light. When switched on, the light intensity increases to a defined brightness level and decreases again when switched off. The lamp also has a timer function that allows the lighting to be switched off automatically after four or eight hours. Despite its relatively small size, the lamp provides a wide-area light distribution. The continuous dimmer can be used to dim the light individually - from 15 to 100%. The lamp arm has a fixed angle of 15° and can be rotated 342° around the base. The lamp head can be tilted and rotated to direct the light beam. The light source is included and permanently installed. It emits warm white light with low brightness. The lamp has a sensor on the lamp with which it can be switched on and off and dimmed continuously.
