Armchair CH07 Shell Chair

The CH07 Shell Chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1963, was ahead of its time and is now considered one of Hans J. Wegner's most iconic and groundbreaking designs. The floating lightness of the CH07 design is created by the wing-like seat and curved backrest, which are supported by a frame made of three curved legs. The seat and backrest, which give the chair its characteristic shape, are made of padded, form-pressed veneer that adapts to the body and offers the highest level of comfort. The legs are made of several layers of veneer, with the two front legs being made from a single piece, which gives the chair a special stability and one of a kind. The lounge chair reflects Wegner's belief that a chair should not only be comfortable, but also have no back and be visually appealing from every angle. Made in Denmark
